Leidos Defense Enterprise and Cyber Solutions (E&CS) is searching for a DevSecOps Lead for an exciting new business opportunity supporting the United States Space Force (USSF) to provide a Terrestrial Software Defined mesh Network referred to as meshONE-T. The DevSecOps Lead is responsible for leading all DevSecOps activities across all aspects of the meshONE-T Program, including the design, development and implementation of a ground-up DevSecOps capability to enable the rapid deployment of Network enhancements and updates to a deployed and operational network.
This challenging Program will support the USSF in developing a prototype/pathfinder for a scalable, resilient, cyber-secure data transport network to support the portfolio of United States Space Force (USSF) missions and Air Force ground systems.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for all DevSecOps-related tasks during program startup and implementation, including establishing the DevSecOps team for contract execution.
Responsible for establishment of the overall approach and technical implementation of a DevSecOps Platform that will enable rapid implementation of network updates to support mission-critical updates.
Works closely with the Program Chief Engineer to provide DevSecOps capabilities that adhere to the Program schedule and budget.
Works closely with the Program Chief Engineer providing status, establishing approval processes and obtaining reach-back support from DevSecOps-related programs throughout Leidos to deliver successful program execution.
Works closely with the USSF leadership at the most senior levels regarding DevSecOps capabilities as they relate to deployed networks for meshONE-T.
Mentors and coaches other DevSecOps technical staff.
Basic Qualifications
DoD Top Secret Clearance with confirmed SCI eligibility.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college with 8 or more years of cyber engineering experience; or a Master's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college with 6 or more years of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
2 or more years as the DevSecOps Engineer for a similar program(s).
Ability to telecommute with significant travel expected to the DC Metro area and various USSF locations, primarily Los Angeles Air Force Base and USSF facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.
Experience with DevSecOps concepts and actual implementation of a DevSecOps Platform/Capability.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
IAT Level II Certification (one of the following): Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
