Job Description:

Leidos is seeking an Enterprise System Engineer/Project Manager to partner on a large enterprise IT contract, ISEO. The candidate will lead the customer’s technology refresh and technology insertion efforts. The technology refresh initiative is responsible for infusing new technology into the customer’s environment throughout the lifecycle of the program with minimal negative impact to ongoing operations.

**Local travel within the Washington DC metropolitan area will occasionally be required**

Responsibilities and tasks may include some or all of the following:

  • Coordinate, conduct and participate in collaboration meetings with, and on behalf of the Government.

  • Develop and maintain a Technology Refresh Plan (TRP) and implement an initiative to ensure infrastructure complies with the technology refresh standards. The TRP will be revised quarterly throughout the life of the contract.

  • Procure, deliver, install and maintain necessary equipment and supplies required to accomplish the approved technology refresh plan. Suggest and implement project improvements related to technology refresh equipment initiatives.

  • In developing the TRP, assess, inventory and address all hardware, software, and firmware identified in the Government identified domains as well as those items currently not mapped in the network.

  • Propose viable technology insertion initiatives for Government consideration.

  • Proactively search for emerging technology to improve the customer environment and experience.

  • Analyze, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise automation and operations based on community policies and guides.

  • Support all aspects of the current and planned developed solutions, capabilities, risk mitigation, analysis of alternatives, testing.

  • Help mentor and review the work of junior team members.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge of IT enterprise operations in the Intelligence Community

  • Experience working in large enterprise operations environments that includes the identification, development, analysis, scheduling and managing of enterprise IT activities, solutions/risk mitigations, artifacts and migrations

  • Experience applying systems engineering fundamental concepts, processes, practices, and procedures on technical assignments

  • Understanding of information technology functions and services supporting the IC and the missions of its respective agencies

  • Experience developing and leading enterprise automation and enterprise class commercial technology integrations

  • Demonstrated experience in implementing enterprise automation and technologies systems engineering practices, especially in collaborative environments

  • Experience in collaborating with other enterprise technologists both internal and external to resolve complex technical issues

  • Experience in supporting and coordinating across senior-level organizations

  • Ability to communicate with senior management and customers

  • Superior written communication skills sufficient to develop customer deliverable reports.

  • Superior oral communication skills.

  • Candidate must have a BS with 8-12 years of experience or Masters with 6-10 years of relevant experience.

Security Clearance Required

  • Must have an active TS/SCI with a polygraph in order to be considered for this position.

  • Due to the nature of the government contracts we support, US Citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL - 4 Foundation

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

  • Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology desired.

  • Experience collaborating with diverse IC stakeholders to drive consensus and forward progress.
