Security is essential for businesses and consumers in the information age.Our team within the Database Security Group is responsible for the Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall product and Data Safe Audit Cloud Service. Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall consolidates and collates audit data and monitors Oracle and non-Oracle database traffic to detect and block threats. It also provides comprehensive reporting capabilities by consolidating audit data from databases, operating systems, directories, and other sources.Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall (AVDF) is growing rapidly, and we want to expand into new areas such as Cloud and Machine learning (ML) based Anomaly detection. To help focus in these areas, we are looking for a senior engineer with expertise in Data Science/Machine Learning to join our team.**Responsibilities:**+ Provide Technical leadership, hands-on development for building Anomaly detection/Analytics services+ Contribute to the architecture and direction of the product+ Work closely with Product Management, QA and other cross functional teams in all phases of product development**Requirements:**+ Masters degree or Ph.d in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics+ 10 years of experience developing complex Enterprise software products+ 3 years experience building machine learning based analytics/anomaly detection services+ Strong development experience with in python or Java+ Experience building data pipelines+ Deep understanding expertise of working hands-on in modeling and operating on large data sets+ Hands-on Cloud & Multi-tenant product development experience is desirable+ Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks; TensorFlow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, etc. is desireable+ Self-starter and deliver tasks with minimal supervision**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes.
