Job Description:
The Defense division within Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator and Operations Technician to support the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 labs at the Fleet ASW Training Center in San Diego CA. Support includes all facets of troubleshooting, network configuration and administration.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in network and IT equipment evaluation/test/repair, and technical troubleshooting and corrective maintenance development.
Basic Linux skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent organizational skills.
Must have and be able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
Experience with AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 or APB Operations
Experience in technical support in a classified lab environment
A+ and/or Security+ certification
Primary Responsibilities:
Network support to ensure system is available for training development and execution.
Updates to both lab hardware and software, ensuring configuration control is maintained.
Repair support and engineering services for the AN/SQQ-89A(V)15 Sonar system.
Specifications for network architecture.
Evaluation and recommendation of new technologies to enhance current capabilities.
Needs assessments based on systems specifications, and obsolescence.
