Leidos has a career opening for a Request Fulfillment (RF) Network Engineer in Pearl Harbor, HI.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Request Fulfillment (RF) HNS-Ops Service Delivery Engineer Ensures customer Service Request requirements are technically sufficient, funded, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expert consultation to customers to assist in defining and specifying their telecommunications requirements and allocating appropriate HNS/DISN resources against those requirements.

  • Use the PCR-360/Communications Management Information Tool (COMIT) to provide full service provisioning support to DOD and other authorized customers.

  • Evaluate requests for appropriate disposition and solution set.

  • Facilitate solution set either by direct configuration of switched voice system assets or thru coordination with appropriate external solution providers and/or implementers.

  • Track and document all provisioning progress and milestones from order receipt thru order completion and delivery of service/product.

  • Assess of selecting, ordering, coordinating installation and acceptance testing of network equipment and circuit engineering as well as coordinating installation activities related to toll, telephone and broadband internet distribution platforms.

  • Provided expert consultation to customers to assist in defining and specifying their circuit requirements and allocating HNS/DSN resources against those requirements.

  • Use the PCR-360/Communications Management Information Tool (COMIT) to provide full-service provisioning to the Department Information Systems Agency (DISA) and other authorized customers.

  • Able to work with WOLS.

  • Develop/create Telecommunication Service Request (TSR) and read the Telecommunication Service Orders (TSO).

  • Track and document all provisioning progress and milestone from order receipt thru order completion and delivery of service/product.

  • Work with the Tech SME and Network Engineer for GSMO internal circuit to ensure each has Circuit Layout Record.

  • Provided training and assistance to BCO’s, MILDEP’s, and other customers when needed to support mission requirement.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and 4-8 yrs of experience; Specific experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience in using the PCR/Communications Management Information Tool (COMIT) to facilitate HNS products service delivery and management.

  • Possesses thorough knowledge of a broad range of currently fielded HNS and DISN systems and associated hardware incorporated into the Global Information Grid (GIG), as well as knowledge of current/future development activities in both the Department of Defense (DOD) and commercial sector.

  • Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on provisioning efforts and activity. Familiarization of DOD regulations and directives.

  • Knowledge of various vendor telecommunications equipment, e.g., Cisco, Avaya, Nortel, Juniper, Promina, etc. Understanding of physical cable plant.

  • Must have a ITIL Certification prior to start.

  • Must possess DoD 8570, IAT Level II Certification prior to your start date. Currently possess an active Secret security clearance.

  • Working knowledge of materials and equipment involved in telephony, Broadband, Internet, Switching and IPTV plant.

  • Ability to read, create and understand circuit diagrams using computer-aided drawing such as AutoCAD, M4 and/or Microsoft Visio

  • Knowledge of current technological developments in telephony, RF, Internet, and IPTV. Ability to research equipment design problems and recommend solutions.

  • Work accurately and efficiently with numbers and perform calculations.

  • Develop, organize and generate accurate records, statistics, and reports with minimal direction.

GSMO

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
