"Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. His/her primary goal will be to help accelerate these engineered systems' growth across all the worldwide regions, across different industry verticals. This person will focus on commercializing the products, crafting industry-focused solutions that tell a compelling story about how the product can be a differentiated offering, defining and refining the GTM, and working cross-functionally to grow the product as dictated by priorities. The priorities may change from quarter to quarter.*Minimum qualifications:** Eight years of experience in enterprise infrastructure or software technology, specifically around IAAS and PAAS products* Experience in engineering, product management or product marketing in one or more cloud infrastructure areas* Act with high reliability in talking ownership, working independently, and have a strong bias towards execution* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business, or equivalent practical experience*Preferred Qualifications** Deep understanding of IAAS / PAAS technology, its growth opportunities, and use-cases in different market verticals* Experience with Database technologies, corresponding architecture/infrastructure needs, and supporting/developing/maintaining cloud solutions* Experience in backup solutions, high availability, disaster recovery, multi-tiered backup* Excellent communication and presentation skills; strong analytical skills* An MBA is preferred but not necessary*Responsibilities*At a strategic level, this individual needs to cross-functionally define and execute the growth strategy for Exadata, ZDLRA, and ODA, including seeking out market segments and partners representing the growth opportunity.At a tactical level, this individual need to enthusiastically interact with various internal business groups, operations units, product release teams, and test and development teams to manage the products' entire life cycle process within the Mission Critical Database Technologies group. Furthermore, this individual also needs to actively engage with the sales and business development teams to understand, prioritize, and progressively eliminate roadblocks to these products' growth, wherever they exist.Among other items, potential responsibilities may include:1. Working with the Engineering / technology-focused Product Management team to understand and develop key differentiation and success factors for Oracle engineered systems.2. Working with various stakeholders to commercialize and launch product updates.3. Working with the marketing teams to align the messages to the core product value proposition to develop the market and enhance the pipeline.4. Working with the regional sales and business development teams to structure the sale plays, sale programs, and GTM market models, specifically tuned to the dynamics of each global region and providing periodic training & support to the regional sales ecosystem.5. Working with partner teams to develop and enhance partner ecosystems.
