Oracle Unity Customer Data Platform applies machine learning to prescribe the best next action within any existing business processes.In this senior leadership product management role, you will manage a team of product managers. Define product strategy, identify opportunities and use cases, articulate product capabilities, collaborate with technical product management teams, outbound product management teams, and Oracle's global customer-facing teams. Additionally, you will represent the product to customers, analysts, and partners and share our product strategy, differentiation, and the product's value and capabilities.This position reports to the VP of Oracle Unity Product Management. You will be part of a highly impactful team focused on delivering a market-leading CDP.**Key Responsibilities**Your charter would be to take a holistic view of Unity as a customer data platform and its use by an enterprise across ad-tech, Customer experience, back-office ERP, internal data platforms, etc. As a product leader, you will aggregate and define market requirements. Work closely with the technical product management and engineering teams to determine the viability of the solutions. Identify the right product portfolio and core components where new capabilities are required and existing capabilities need to be enhanced. Propose platform and application capabilities and features that the tech product management teams can then execute and finally ensure that the releases are per the market requirements.+ Provide end-to-end product management support aligning Development, Functional and non-Functional requirements in close coordination with engineering, design, infrastructure, operations, security, go-to-market teams, and partners.+ Drive and coordinate analysis & assessment of business requirements and translate into platform and application feature needs.+ Steer and prioritize the product portfolio in conjunction with strategic priorities and roadmaps.+ Develop business cases and validate prioritization decisions.+ Develop and drive implementation plans in coordination with all stakeholders+ Define and track metrics that demonstrate continuous operational effectiveness and improvement opportunities within your product areas+ Represent product needs with Oracle's corporate business Development, Legal and security teams.+ Lead and collaborate with Product Pricing, Promotions, Packaging initiatives+ Support Customer Engineering, Implementation, Systems integrator Partnerships, and Alliances needs**Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:**+ Bachelor's Degree & 15 years of relevant business experience, preferably in product management of platforms/capabilities such as data platforms, data warehouse, business intelligence, artificial intelligence.+ Proven leadership and influence skills This individual will be driving a fundamental transformation in the creation of our foundational data management and application of data capabilities in areas such as activation, intelligence, personalization.+ Proven track record in managing, developing, deploying, and/or maintaining complex enterprise services, real-time data platforms, cloud services, transactional systems, operational databases or data stores, data warehouses, business reporting tools, and technologies.+ Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex, and long-lasting products in the market+ Strong foundational knowledge and experience with large-scale data management+ Hands-on experience in big data, data management, and business outcomes analysis interest and ability to roll up sleeves and work along with key architects and engineers in building market-leading cloud solutions+ Deep understanding and appreciation for both business and technology components of industries that CDP as a product category associates with. e.g., Marketing Technologies, Advertising Technologies, Data Platforms, Customer Data Management, Identity Platforms, etc.+ Proven track record in meeting aggressive deadlines and building relationships with adjacent teams+ Good experience with visualizations, storytelling through data, and orientation towards good design aesthetics in user-facing applications+ Good awareness of top CDP market players ranging from niche to well-established CDP vendors+ Good grasp of privacy issues, compliance management, and data governance needs of today's marketers and advertisersIf you are excited about staying in the business forefront, pushing technology boundaries, discovering hidden use-cases, and being a part of the emerging CDP trend. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management.
