You will bring the customer voice, both internal and external, to Oracles efforts in transitioning legacy platforms to a microservice SaaS architecture. You will bring your SRE & DevOps experience to architect SaaS products that are efficient to deploy, have the highest security, and meet high enterprise customer standards for performance and reliability. You will work closely with the executive team to establish our competitive positioning and strategy. You should have a strong technical foundation and experience building products that rely on infrastructure providers such as AWS and how enterprises look to securely deploy cloud for the best user experience. Concepts around containers, microservices & cloud services are native you.**Responsibilities**+ The Technical Product Manager works as part of a DevOps cultured focusing on microservice architecture, building, and support systems for web and mobile applications for large scale production environments+ You will leverage your delivery experience in a Product Management role to guide the transition of many successful and highly utilized SaaS offerings to a microservice architecture in a SRE & DevOps culture+ You will identify and influence others on the appropriate use of Kubernetes and Docker deployment and operational best practice techniques and procedures to deliver enterprise-class SaaS applications+ You will represent the voice of our customers as our SaaS platform transitions to a microservice architecture to ensure customer experience is maximized+ You will act as an ambassador for the platform team and technology spreading the knowledge to others+ You will lead project/planning efforts, architectural design, attending meetings w/ various teams+ You will learn what customers (internal and external) need; clearly document requirements; ship it smoothly; magnify the impact customers can have and make them more productive; measure impact; grow our company. Repeat.+ You will identify needs through a combination of user research, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates and customers, diving into data, and competitive analysis.+ Help define new platform vision and strategy, and inspire people with it across the company+ Develop detailed requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application. Ruthlessly prioritize in cooperation with other Product Managers.+ Help define roadmap, positioning, and pricing. Drive product messaging with the marketing team.+ Ensure we ship a well-crafted product at a timely pace yet meeting all acceptance criteria+ Define metrics for success and failure+ You will analyze and create dashboards for key metrics**Qualifications / Competencies**+ You should have previous experience with another cloud provider like Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.+ You should have experience with migrations to the Cloud, from both Physical & Virtual environments+ You should have experience identifying appropriate use of cloud operational best practices techniques and procedures**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.
