"**VP Product Management, DataFox****Preferred Qualifications**As the Head of Product Management for Oracle DataFox, you will lead this ML and NLP-driven data product and business through a critical period of growth and change. DataFox, an innovative company intelligence platform and a SaaS provider of B2B sales and marketing solutions, was acquired by Oracle in November 2018 with the purpose to expand global reach, and extend to enterprise customers in the Oracle install base. DataFox uses ML and NLP to mine the public internet and social sources for firmographics and signals about companies. In this role, you will create the strategy and drive the execution that enables Oracle to expand DataFox into a wider base of enterprise customers.As the Head of Product Management for DataFox, you will lead a team of product managers, directing overall product priorities and steering the future of the product to deliver on the business goals. Working closely with engineering, data science, as well as sales and marketing teams, this role will function like a virtual general manager for the product and business of DataFox.As product visionary for DataFox, you should bring an understanding of data businesses and data products from the past along with open-mindedness and creativity about how NLP and ML can deliver better data products for the future. You should have familiarity with enterprise SaaS applications and the real-world challenges presented by challenges with data quality. Experience leading product management for enterprise data-driven products is a plus, as long as it comes with a willingness to do things differently to fit the particular strengths of Oracle.This role will break new ground and require solving new problems with many unknowns in an Oracle context. Requirements for the role include:+ Experience leading agile enterprise product teams as a product owner+ Experience leading teams of product managers and virtual teams of engineers and sales specialists+ Solid understanding of machine learning and NLP+ Demonstrated track record of 10 years of software engineering, product development, product management in enterprise and consumer software products+ Understanding of SaaS deployment models+ Understanding of enterprise data products+ Understanding of enterprise sales motionsThe following qualities and qualifications are also required:+ Self-starter, motivated and ambitious. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a Vice President in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.Assists in the creation of division strategy and consults with senior management in providing direction to ensure growth and financial success. Ensures a consistent approach of organizational policies and procedures. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
