Principal Product Manager

"Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. You are willing to fail fast, learn, and then iterate.*Detailed Description and Job Requirements** 8-12 years of experience as an APEX developer or leader* Strong understanding of cloud architectures, agile development, and software delivery lifecycle* Experience identifying and addressing customer needs, building relationships with customers, developing an awareness of relevant services, communicating with customers in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, and resolving potential conflicts.* Ability to engage in detailed technical discussions with engineering and operational teams and make technology-related product decisions.* Deep understanding of web and application development, database development, cloud architectures, performance monitoring* Experience working in and delivering product or services in an agile/lean environment.* Experience in gathering and transforming product requirements into an actionable product roadmap.* Ability to convey your vision through product roadmaps, working closely with product leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders, and participate in all levels of planning.* Proven ability to work collaboratively in diverse, cross-departmental teams.* Successfully lead product initiatives, across various functions including marketing, design, engineering, and other stakeholder teams* A customer champion; making and influencing decisions about product features, functionality, design, and architecture with our customers at the center.* Ability to gather relevant data and metrics for a product set measurable and progressive goals using data, and drive achievement of goals and metrics in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.* Ability to secure buy-in for new initiatives through comprehensive research, building business cases and socializing.* A passion for technology; keeping up with the latest trends in the field and aware of how they impact the APEX roadmap.**Job:** **Product Development***Organization:** **Oracle***Title:** *Principal Product Manager***Location:** *United States***Requisition ID:** *210002UW*"
