"**Supplier Sourcing Program Manager 4****Preferred Qualifications****Position Overview:** The Strategic Sourcing Manager is part of the department that manages the commodity suppliers for power supplies (PSU), power distribution units (PDU), printed circuit boards (PCB), network interface cards (NIC), host bus adapters (HBA), battery backup units (BBU), integrated circuits, cables, interconnects, packaging, mechanicals and the external manufacturing non-core business processes. This position is for a Power Supply Strategic Sourcing Manager role where the candidate will interface with development and supplier stakeholders to provide materials and components for company product supply chain. The candidate will manage the PSU strategy, supplier contracts, costs, continuity of supply, quality, availability, supply chain development, and technical activities from new product introduction through end of life.**Responsibilities:** - Manages the supplier relationships for cost, quality, availability and technical requirements for all product during development through end of life. - Lead the cross functional commodity team to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies. Provide balanced judgment and demonstrates problem solving skills in complex and ambiguous situations. - Work with engineering to create specifications, prepare request for proposals (RFP), evaluates the proposals and works with the stakeholders to select the qualified supplier. - Negotiates the master supply agreements, licenses and product award letters to Oracle terms. - Manage supplier availability and reliability and develops new supply sources when suppliers are no longer competitive. - Supports supply chain execution material escalations to locate authorized alternate supply sources to ensure supply continuity. Acts as the primary interface in the management of the supplier relationships. Mentors and provides leadership to other colleagues.**Preferred Skills:** Highly motivated individual contributor and cross functional team leader, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. - Candidate must have proficient contract and pricing negotiation skills and have a detailed understanding of the product development processes, supply base and supply chain. - Candidate should have strong business acumen to create commodity strategies, cost models and business processes. - Must have experience negotiating production agreements and understand technical details needed to negotiate intellectual property contract terms and custom work exhibits. - Strong project management and analytical skills. - Ability to work in a fast pace, ever changing environment with high accountability and a sense of urgency. - Effectively deal with ambiguity, learn on the fly, and make concise decisions. - Prioritize and multitask effectively. - Proven ability to influence others and drive resolutions. - Strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Prefer 8 years relevant experience and a BA/BS degree in related discipline. Ideal candidate will have engineering, PSU commodity experience, supplier management and program management background.**Essential Functions:** Work with engineering and lead cross functional team to define and implement the PSU commodity sourcing strategy: - Covering the design, qualification, and implementation of NPI and sustaining solutions. - Meeting corporate design objectives, product design team requirements, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer performance requirements. - Provides the optimum supply chain solutions with respect to supplier strategy, supply base consolidation, cost, quality, availability and technical capabilities. - Provide sustaining support for global manufacturing, distribution, and customer support functions.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**Interfaces with development and supplier stakeholders to provide materials and components for company product supply chain.Leads cross line of business teams to drive competitive cost, supplier performance and supply chain efficiencies.
