Principal Program Manager

"Delivers license management services and programs to customers and partners, in order to govern, manage and promote awareness of the proper use and distribution of Oracle solutions. Provides expertise, advisement and tools that aid in managing compliance with Oracle's contractual agreements, while providing value-added services to enhance satisfaction.Performs business planning for assigned segment. Executes complex license management engagements/programs with customers and partners, following defined standard processes, that aid in the proper management and distribution of Oracle products. Uses expertise in contractual agreements, licensing policies, technical verification, compliance processes and other relevant areas to provide analysis and license management related advisement. Works with sales, customers and partners to ensure compliance issues are resolved, while preserving business relationships. Drives the project planning, implementation, control and communication of assigned engagements/programs. Partners with other Oracle organizations in planning and conducting engagements/programs. Shares expertise and experience in mentoring others. Contributes to cross-team projects aimed at leveraging best practices and increasing organizational effectiveness.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Advanced skills and knowledge in the management of multiple complex projects. Ability to analyze complex issues and formulate relevant business solutions. Exhibits cross-lob collaboration and excellent communication skills in successfully performing job responsibilities. Experience in working with c-level personnel. University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience. Typically 8 years of related experience to include 5-8 years customer facing experience in IT/asset management consulting, audit or customer management and understanding of the software industry is preferred.* University degree or equivalent combination of studies and experience; law degree not necessary but preferred* 5-8 years in law and business environment/Corporation in the software industry* Experience in data protection & security, information governance, audit and compliance* Personal Integrity* Ability to multi-task, and serve as a team player in a fast-paced environment* Personal Integrity* Ability to manage priorities and projects* Highly analytical and effective communicator capable of influencing other teams and departments* Fluent English, other languages depending on regionResponsibilitiesPrincipal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Provides advisory and consulting strategic support for GLAS to drive improvements in organizational data and information security, compliance position, and adherence to policies, expected controls, & regulatory requirements* Acts as a compliance subject matter expert while interfacing with applicable departments, groups, and individuals on relevant initiatives and concerns* Acts as the global focal point for any compliance or legal questions and coordinates information, recommendations, and resolution proposals and legal escalations* Liaises with Global, Divisional and Regional Legal teams in order to facilitate progress, resolution, consistency of approach to customer engagements where there is any legal involvement* Works with Divisions to drive consistent approach to customer escalation management, response and resolution through application of expertise and problem-solving* Provide guidance and escalation management for information data and security issues, and incidents and enquiries* Proactively identify process, policy, and information security deficiencies, implement improvement, facilitate development of solutions, and work with other program owners and business stakeholders as needed to align solutions* Drive organizational knowledge and understanding on subjects of information security, data security and protection, audit, legal, and compliance in line with Oracle corporation through creation and delivery of training, communication, information and documentation sharing* Creates, examines, and improves deliverables, templates, processes, and policies to minimize / prevent legal issues and drive resolution in a timely manner* Provide management and stakeholder reporting* Conducts programmatic reviews on documents and reports on internal and third-party risk assessments to drive improvements and overall risk reduction**Job:** **Finance***Organization:** **Oracle***Title:** *Principal Program Manager***Location:** *United States***Requisition ID:** *21000FXV*"
