Senior Financial Analyst

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This is a hybrid work opportunity that can be based in Southfield, MI; Galesburg, MI or Beachwood, OH. Relocation assistance is provided within the United States.

The Senior Financial Analyst will play an integral role in supporting both the Power Distribution & Protection product line while also providing support to global eMobility headquarters. This role, reporting to the PD& P Product Line Finance Leader, is a highly visible role with international exposure and will be instrumental in supporting the growth and profitability of a fast growing business.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

• Provide in-depth analysis of total product line financial performance, including root cause analysis for variances to forecast & profit plan
• Support Eaton’s finance transformation, driving finance functional continuous improvement at the plant level and at eMobility headquarters
• Track and analyze performance of PD&P products against established cost models, from product development to full rate production
• Support program management office, including financial analysis and other ad hoc requests across all PD&P programs
• Manage the product line capital spending budget, including consolidation, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure customer and budgetary commitments are met
• Key contributor to the PD&P + eMobility HQ annual Profit Plan process and performance
• Support PD&P plant initiatives to drive profitability
• Perform additional responsibilities and ad hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting and/ or Business from an accredited institution
• Minimum of two (2) years of Accounting or Finance experience
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future
• Relocation is available for this position within the United States. Candidates that reside within 50 miles of Galesburg, MI, Southfield, MI or Beachwood, OH will also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CMA Certification
• Financial analysis experience within a manufacturing environment
• Automotive industry experience
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)

Skills:

• Attention to detail with strong analytical, decision making, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities & deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate and present financial information effectively to leadership
• Strong understanding of standard financial statements (income, balance sheets, cash flow)
• Working knowledge and application of accounting principles/practices
