As part of the Information Technology team, you will work on new technologies and find ways to meet our customers’ needs and make it easy for them to do business with us on digital channels. You will use your experience to solve complex problems and find unique solutions. The work you’ll do every single day will make people’s lives, work, and play better.

• Leading small to midsize projects and regularly mentors staff members and peers.
• Performing high-level and detailed designs for large and mid-sized complex projects.
• Perform project management activities such as planning, sizing, scheduling, and tracking activities.
• Analyzing problems, developing solutions and making decisions independently that impact overall projects and systems.
• Ensuring software design and programming is done in accordance with the software quality assurance standards and system implementations occur in accordance with established Change Control procedures.
• Designing, creating, and implementing Java-based applications.
• Interpreting briefs to create high-quality coding that functions according to specifications.
• Determining application functions and building objectives with the team.
• Ensure that written code falls in line with the project objectives.
• Problem-solving with other team members in the project.
• Identify and resolveimmediate and potential issues with applications.

Where you'll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant work experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in design, development, testing, and operational support in Microservices, Java, J2EE, Docker, Kubernetes, Graphql, AWS, Oracle, Redis, IBM MQ, Apigee andKibana.
• Leveraging knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud services.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience as a software programmer.
• Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time-management skills.
