Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ETL projects and develop ETL processes into enterprise solutions
  • Working with multiple data sources including on premise systems/applications, or cloud-based systems/applications
  • Design, develop and maintain database objects (tables, views, stored procedures, etc.) and SQL scripts.
  • Develop, test & implement ETL solutions using an agile methodology.
  • Collaborate with other ETL and / or application developers and business users
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech with Agile experience
  • 4 - 6 years of strong experience as a ETL developer in data warehouse environment
  • Strong hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and Data Replication
  • Experience working with high volume databases with partitioned data, performance, and tuning
  • Cloud ETL development experience using AWS Services / tools, Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and/or similar technologies
  • Developer with ETL experience to build data extracts / exchanges which help our business achieve strategic program implementations and meets compliance requirements
  • Strong knowledge of data warehousing methodologies and concepts, including ETL processes and dimensional data modeling
  • Knowledge of application development lifecycles, & continuous integration/deployment practices
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL databases and queries
  • Well versed in SQL, Data Warehousing principles & practices, and the use of ETL Tools on-premises and in the cloud

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years hands-on development experience in ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services preferred)
  • Highly experienced in SQL and relational/dimensional databases
  • Experience with cloud environments and tools (AWS, S3, Lambdas, Cloud DWs), preferably Azure (Azure Databricks, Blob, Azure Data Factory)
  • Experience working with Snowflake in a production environment (beyond POCs)
  • Experience with reporting tools (Tableau, QlikView, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI
  • Experience in Kafka streaming process
  • Experience in cloud infrastructure like Azure
  • Experience in CI/CD DevOps processes. Working experience in Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins
  • Good experience with programming languages such as Python, Spark, PySpark, Scala
  • Knowledge of Cloud SQL database (Azure or AWS)
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient in Agile Software Development methodology, processes, and practices
  • Strong, analytical, focused, self-driven with excellent problem-solving skills
