Ashley Furniture Industries, LLC has multiple openings for Senior IT Developers in Charlotte, NC. Plan programs by studying specifications and arrange specifications by developing logical sequence, preparing flowcharts, and researching solutions. Perform code specifications by converting logical sequence and workflow into program language. Verify coding by performing unit testing and trial runs. Arrange project requirements in programming sequence by analyzing requirements and preparing a workflow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic. Meet programming standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards and identify work process improvements and implement new technology. Prepare program specifications based on documented business requirements. Prepare and review program documentation. Accomplish programming project requirements by coaching and mentoring programmers. Involve the next level by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and learning from mentors and peers. Follow company standards and demonstrate the Company's Core and Growth Values in the performance of all job functions. Maintain reliable attendance. Actively participate in departmental meetings, training and education and assist with training other employees and providing backup. Complete other assignments and special projects as requested.
Job Requirements
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, and five years of experience in software development or related.
Also must have:
· Five years of experience with MS SQL Server and MySQL;
· Three years of experience with .NET Framework using managed technologies such as ASP.NET;
· Three years of experience with SOA (Services Oriented Architecture), RESTful, or SOAP web services; and
· Three years of experience with Microsoft SSIS and SSRS.
