Some of our projects involve the development of browser-based user interface pages using a variety of technologies and programming/markup languages. These include HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), XML and PL/SQL. Our primary user interface development tool is Oracle Application Express (APEX). We are looking to hire a senior UI developer to help our consulting practice with the design and implementation of UI solutions, based on various customer requirements.*Key Responsibilities*:* Understand a customers business and user interface requirements and translate those requirements into technical user interface specifications* Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas* Help document user interface standards and stylesheets for customer projects.* Help oversee the implementation of user interface standards on customer projects.* Develop user interface screens using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and APEX* Collaborate by sharing knowledge and best practices within the Consulting practice.* Develop a peer network through which to provide and receive product and skills assistance.*Required Skills:**Must Have:** Demonstrable UI design and implementation skills* Minimum of 5 years of experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript development.* Minimum of 5 years of SQL and PL/SQL programming experience* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.*Nice to Have:** Solid understanding of the Oracle database and data Modelling* Experience with installing and configuring Oracle APEX, including Oracle REST Data Service (ORDS).* Experience with configuring Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)* Willingness to travel to client sites for projects up to 50%, after the pandemic.Oracle is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
