What you'll be doing...

  • Working with a team of In-Building RF and Construction engineers to design, construct, integrate and optimize In-Building systems throughout the state of Florida.
  • iBwave in-building design creation and review.
  • Help oversee the in-building project costs and bidding for vendor selection.
  • Work with construction engineers to produce a buildable design.
  • On-site location assessment, site survey and gathering of coverage requirements.
  • Completion of small to large scale DAS design projects using different OEM platforms.
  • Commission and optimization of DAS post installation.
  • Meet Regulatory RFE requirements.
  • Closeout documentation for carrier acceptance of system.

What we're looking for...

You will be self-sufficient in working on DAS design and technology related issues, providing solutions to concepts and projects rather than just tasks. The ideal RF engineer will have Level 2 skills in iBwave design with multiple DAS OEM's. The candidate will have hands-on experience in the completion and analysis of RF Testing including Antenna testing, Continuous Wave (CW) testing, On-Air testing and PIM/Line Sweep. In addition, the candidate will possess the ability to complete RF/DAS design work of multi-sector projects and troubleshooting of designs either independently or on a team.

You'll need to have:
  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
  • A valid driver's license.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:
  • Professional experience in DAS engineering using most major DAS OEMs such as JMA, SOLiD, Commscope and Ericsson.
  • iBwave Level 2 proficiency.
  • Expert level experience in DAS commissioning, optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in use of RF and optical test equipment (i.e. Spectrum Analyzer, BTS Test set, Anritsu PIM/Sweep, Fiber test device).
  • Familiar with LTE, 5G, mmWave, and C-Band wireless technologies.
