The Defense Systems Sector, is seeking a talented Senior Reliability Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems.

The Senior Reliability Engineer will lead and manage other reliability engineers on large programs associated with the DoD, DARPA, NASA, and commercial applications. The selected candidate will have a significant impact on the development of reliability artifacts such as reliability prediction, MTTR analysis, reliability block diagrams (RBD), reliability reports, statistics, FMEA, FTA, etc. The selected candidate will be expected to interface with program management and executive leadership to resolve highly complex and significant problems using their expert technical knowledge. The selected candidate will be experienced with using the Reliasoft tool and will serve as a Subject Matter Expert. The selected candidate may present reliability engineering artifacts they have developed to the customer in formal design reviews and may serve as a customer liaison in many of their programs.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Senior Reliability Engineer will work in a matrixed organization supporting multiple programs at once in a variety of engineering fields with all different team environments, from the large-scale programs that Leidos Defense is the prime contractor for, like the Hypersonics Weapons Program and High Energy Laser Program, to smaller-scale programs for which Dynetics provides support as a subcontractor to companies in the top 100 DoD contractors. The candidate will join a diverse team of other reliability engineers, systems engineers and model-based systems engineers and have the opportunity to work on programs from their preferred background, as well as challenge themselves by working on programs outside of their expertise.
