Job Description:

The Defense Group at Leidos is seeking a Senior Program Engineer on our GSMO II IDIQ contract’s Joint Service Provider (JSP) Cyber Security Task Order in Alexandria, VA. JSP provides a full range of IT products, services, and solutions and customer services to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Joint Staff (JS), Director of Administration (DA), Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), and other OSD offices for them to meet mission and business requirements. Through the JSP Cyber Security program, JSP performs a wide variety of services and functions required to secure the information security posture for DoD services.

This role will be based onsite in Arlington, VA and an active Secret security clearance is required prior to start.

This task order is expected to be awarded in January with start of performance in February. An active Secret clearance is required prior to start and this role will be based onsite in the Arlington, VA area with ability to telework up to 50% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the multi-disciplinary TN10 Program Management Support Staff (~10 people) – Schedulers, On Boarding Off Boarding Specialist, Splunk Developers, Data Scientist, Deliverable Manager, etc.

  • Plan, organize, and prioritize workload and job assignments; managing multiple disparate moving parts, responding quickly to often changing priorities.

  • Interfacing with Leidos Leaders and Subcontract Management to ensure team has adequate resources to meet the needs of the program.

  • Supports the PM and DPM in ensuring Leidos is meeting our contractual commitments to the customer and our business case to the company.

  • Ensures there is adequate support to meet contract deliverables.

  • Effectively communicates across the team.

  • Strategic planning/communication.

  • Provide project management services to plan, coordinate, manage, and report on project status for assigned projects.

  • Drives actions from the PM and DPM to closure by coordinating staff activities and assembly of information; ensuring accuracy.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT-related field and 12+ years' experience in the Cybersecurity area. Additional years of applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

  • Active Secret security clearance required prior to start.

  • 5+ Years of prior Management Experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership of small multi-disciplinary technical teams and projects.

  • Prior experience with subcontract management.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) required.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • PMP certification.
