Leidos is hiring a MATLAB/Simulink Software Engineer to support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, as an integral member of a government contract team.
The candidate must be a US Citizen who is eligible for a TS/SCI security clearance.
We are seeking an engineer with experience developing space and counter-space models and simulations in support of intelligence analysis objectives. The engineer will work to design, develop, test, and document simulations in MATLAB/Simulink. Candidates must have MATLAB/Simulink skills and have some knowledge in aerospace systems. The qualified candidate must also be able to work independently and have effective writing and verbal communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Research foreign satellite systems
Support the development of space and counter-space models in support of intelligence analysis objective
Assessing capabilities of foreign space systems
Incorporate space models or components or entire vehicles into current modeling environment
Produce high confidence answers to problems of interest on space systems
Basic Qualifications
Ability to acquire a TS/SCI security clearance upon hire; US citizenship is required
BS in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years experience or MS in Electrical Engineering and 2+ yrs of experience
Basic understanding of aerospace systems
Knowledge and experience with MATLAB/Simulink and related toolboxes
Strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work individually and with teams

Pay Range:
Pay Range $74,750.00 - $115,000.00 - $155,250.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
