Primary Responsibilities:

  • Play a role of Software engineer in the team, as part of an Agile scrum team assigned to work
  • Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needs
  • Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable, and maintainable software and should be able to clearly articulate the implications of design/architectural decisions, issues and plans to technology leadership
  • Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, mentoring, and software engineering best practices to junior software engineers
  • Develop reusable patterns and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity
  • Collaborate on the design with other team members and product owners, both inside and outside the scrum team
  • Estimate engineering work effort for engineering team and effectively identify and prioritize the high impact tasks
  • Conduct design and monitoring reviews to ensure monitoring of application covers all functionality and dependency related to Application
  • Handling communication with Business and stake holders
  • Zeal to Learn new technology and modernization tool
  • On time delivery of task and keeping status update to date in rally
  • Drive a quality mindset within the team
  • Be able to be good team player. Always open for help and support. Sharing learing within the team

Required Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related experience
  • 5+ years Java/J2EE experience
  • Experience with Relational or NOSQL databases
  • Experience in using POSTMAN for developing/testing Web Services (REST, SOAP)
  • Experience with Design patterns and software engineering best practices
  • Web Framework experience with
    • Spring Boot
    • Hibernate/JPA
  • Web UI experience with
    • HTML5
    • CSS
    • AJAX
    • JavaScript
    • AngularJS
  • Knowledge of Abobe Experience Manager
  • Good knowledge on JAVA/Core Java/J2EE
  • Good analytical skill and Debuggin skill

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience on CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker etc.
  • Experience with Version control tools like GIT
  • Some experience in handling Production support
  • Knowledge of Monitoring and tracking tools like Splunk and DTSAAS
  • Knowledge on Azure or any Cloud platform
  • Ability to review Functional specifications and Technical changes
