Function description
The roles in the Software Engineering job function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs. These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery.

Project Overview
This project is more about taking consent from participants who are participating in different research and study for healthcare needs, UnitedHealth Group is on a mission to provide a complete solution for all healthcare research and study needs and under this mission we are working on a solution which can help any research or study team to collect consent as per government regulations to use participants data for different study and research.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as individual contributor for eConsent application
  • Work on the deployment solutions and code deployment must be through CI CD pipelines
  • End-to-end Azure Cloud DevOps Engineering task using Jenkins, Terraform, Groovy
  • End-to-end pipeline micros services deployment and should capable of designing and modify exiting Jenkins pipeline
  • Be able to provision azure infrastructure like AKS, firewall, Vnet using terraform and Jenkins and also should integrate on eConsent application
  • Be able to find cloud azure security venerability and fix it
  • Enhance existing products as well as create new offerings utilizing the latest technology
  • Enhance code quality and always to complete unite testing to achieve good code coverage
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting the jobs, scripts and software in production for high availability and resiliency
  • Collaborate with Team, Solution Architects, and Technical Architects to ensure that the Solution is accurate to deliver outcomes to the client and reliable from a technology perspective
  • Keep in contact with Team lead and technical lead to meet the deadlines
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/MCA/Msc/MTech (Minimum 16 years of formal education, correspondence courses are not relevant)
  • 2+ years of experience in developing software systems
  • 2+ years of experience in Azure Cloud, Terraform
  • 2+ years of experience in Jenkins, Groovy
  • 2+ years of experience in Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
  • Experience in working with JSON, YAML format
  • Experience with software development lifecycle methodologies and frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, Test Driven Development, etc.
  • Work experience in Agile/Scrum Methodology

Preferred Qualification:

  • Knowledge of Microservices Release management
