Primary Responsibilities:

Software engineering is the application of engineering to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software in a systematic method. The roles in this function will cover all primary development activity across all technology functions that ensure we deliver code with high quality for our applications, products and services and to understand customer needs and to develop product roadmaps.

These roles include, but are not limited to analysis, design, coding, engineering, testing, debugging, standards, methods, tools analysis, documentation, research and development, maintenance, new development, operations and delivery. With every role in the company, each position has a requirement for building quality into every output. This also includes evaluating new tools, new techniques, strategies; Automation of common tasks; build of common utilities to drive organizational efficiency with a passion around technology and solutions and influence of thought and leadership on future capabilities and opportunities to apply technology in new and innovative ways.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of Routing Development
  • 5+ years of Genesys Framework
  • 5+ years of experience in developing Routing workflows using Composer & Genesys Rules Engine
  • Design and Development experience in Routing Applications for Voice routing using Composer/IRD and SCXML
  • Experience in Genesys Contact Center Solutions (Voice Routing)
  • Development experience using Genesys Suite of technologies ( Genesys CTI, Genesys Composer, ORS (Orchestration Server), Genesys Digital Eservices, Genesys Workspace.)
  • Experience in designing, developing and debugging routing solutions implemented using Genesys Orchestration Server, GA, GAX, GRAT
  • Experience in troubleshooting routing issues in production on calls
  • CICD experience with Jenkins and GitHub
  • Solid knowledge in SDL
  • Proficient in Client applications like GRAT, Composer, GAX (Genesys Administrator Extension), GA(Genesys Administrator), Pulse, log analysis tools
  • Proven ability to architect routing design and development for new solutions that will be implemented for the customer

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Healthcare experience
  • Experience with Java development and Genesys Platform SDK
  • Database knowledge pertaining to SQL and Cassandra will be considered
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The Salary range for Colorado Connecticut and Nevada residents is $97,300 to 176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
