About the Role:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be working to enable a modern, high performing health system by delivering a global, end-to-end experience aligned with our strategic partners priorities. Working alongside the Optum Global Solutions Team, you’ll have the opportunity to work in an exciting team helping develop healthcare solutions. Primary Responsibilities of the Senior Java Software Engineer:

  • Working on Public cloud environment to develop healthcare solutions
  • Delivering high quality Java code
  • Designing and implementing data integration processes and workflows for healthcare systems
  • Developing supporting test cases for all functionalities
  • Assist in troubleshooting of EDI transactions and workflows
  • Working in a dynamic, self-organized agile team
  • Create and maintain documentation for the project and participate in team meetings, conferences and problem-solving discussions
  • Provide training and assistance to less experienced staffs as needed

Required Qualifications of the Senior Java Software Engineer:

  • Strong experience programming in Java
  • Experience building REST APIs
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot
  • Database experience with SQL
  • Strong knowledge with public cloud platforms

Preffered Qualifications of the Senior Java Software Engineer:

  • Front end experience with Angular, CSS and HTML
  • Experience within an Agile enviroment
