Responsibilities Include:

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software source code.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, working within broadly defined parameters.

  • Use Agile development tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket/Git.

  • Support creation and updating of all relevant documentation and specifications for design, development, and testing.

  • Develop around potential roadblocks.

  • Plan and estimate development tasks.

  • Develop maintainable code that matches specification.

  • Develop automated tests leveraging a continuous integration process.

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of experience in a relevant field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Experience with Java, C/C++, and object-oriented programming.

  • Experience with RESTful services and APIs.

  • Solid understanding of software development process fundamentals.

  • Strong, self-motivated desire to learn new programming languages, tools, frameworks, and techniques.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:

  • Knowledge of developing applications using Confluent and Apache Kafka.

  • Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies.

  • Knowledge of a version control system (e.g., Git).

  • Familiarity developing and delivering modern software, including microservices, containers, and serverless architectures.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint).

  • Active DoD security clearance.

Clearance Required:

  • Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $53,300.00 - $82,000.00 - $110,700.00

Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
