Daily Tasks:

  • The day starts with attending scrum meetings and picking task/updating status in Rally. The tasks are to be completed in accordance with design decisions from Team Lead. Daily tasks will involve coding in Apex to develop Lightning components
  • Also, as part of a large team, the candidate should be interested in work on different projects and help other team members as the need arises

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop highly scalable, cloud-native applications on the Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud platform
  • Strategize, plan and manage all processes related to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and process automation
  • Enforce strict compliance and security requirements in accordance with HIPAA regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with Architects, DevOps Engineers, Team Members, Product Owners and Engineers across the organization to deliver a comprehensive solution
  • Continuously improve the speed, reliability and quality of our product delivery
  • Participate in peer design and code reviews as part of the Dev-Ops process
  • Follow modern Dev-Ops process using Git and Continuous Integration tools
  • Understand Force.com capabilities, governor limits, limit monitoring and best practices for limit-informed development
  • Effectively collaborate with project team to understand the requirements, analyze them and apply new technologies to implement optimal solutions
  • Build integrations to interact with external systems based on instructions and pre-established guidelines from a Technical Architect
  • Influences the team designs and solutions. Mentor software engineers through code reviews and hands-on design sessions
  • Contributes meaningfully to code reviews of team’s work, providing collaborative guidance in areas of strength
  • Continue to receive guidance on own code reviews primarily around solution refinement rather than overall direction. Able to explain implementation decisions and push back appropriately
  • Learn from feedback and apply to future deliverables
  • Incorporate automation in test, build, and deploy processes to drive team efficiency
  • Introduce automation to replace repeated manual processes
  • Incorporate proactive monitors, logging, and alerting into the definition of done
  • Understand most common security threats and patterns at both the application layer and infrastructure layers and delivers solutions devoid of them
  • Help to unblock the team when there a blockages
  • Considers the User Experience, business impact, and solution objective when managing development and design of solutions
  • Spend time with users and deliver initiatives that drive value and NPS improvements

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • Certified as Platform Developer I
  • Active Salesforce Admin certification (Current)
  • 5+ years of experience with Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce pages and Lightning Components (Aura framework)
  • 5+ years of experience with Force.com Workflows, Lightning Flows, and Process Builder
  • 5+ years of direct experience in Salesforce Development
  • 3+ years of experience with Git
  • 3+ years of experience with agile development methodologies
  • 3+ years of experience ensuring your code builds and deploys properly through Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes built in Jenkins or other SF deployment tools
  • Experience configuring workflows, Lightning pages, process builders and flows

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
