This candidate will be part of a 43-person team made up of Project Managers, Teradata and Web Developers, Data Modelers, DBAs, Business Analysts and Report Analysts. Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with programmers, analysts, immediate supervisor, management, system users, operations, other State agencies and the private sector.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work as a team with other developers to produce Web applications/Web Service applications
- Learn and understand the client's business process
- Develop and maintain system source code using ASP.net to produce web applications
- Follow State procedures and development coding standards when developing code
- Provide standardization and consistency across web applications
- Participate in discussions to document and recommend alternative solutions or application requirements for assigned projects
- Identify and initiate resolutions to user problems and concerns associated with web applications
- Assist the team in solving complex and/or critical issues and developing innovative solutions
- Assist in preparing presentation materials for technical review meetings, approval sessions, and application demonstrations
- Assist with preparation of help documents and procedure manuals affiliated with assigned projects
- Participate in Requirements and Functional Design sessions with business analyst, technical and business subject matter experts
- Participate in completion of technical documentation for Requirements, Functional Design, including as is or to be process flows, screen mockups, and use cases

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience with Visual Studio - Developing, deploying, and supporting web-based applications using Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment using C#
- 2+ years experience using ASP.NET 4.0+ with Webforms and MVC (Model View Controller)
- 2+ years experience with SQL Server or other relational databases
- 2+ years experience using Javascript, JQuery, Javascript libraries and plugins, CSS Libraries (Bootstrap and Ajax) to enhance the user interface and experience of web-based applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using version control software (Subversion, GitHub)
- Experience in Agile Development methodology
- Experience with Automated Testing tools
- Experience in Health Care Industry, Medicaid data and/or State Government
- Experience developing RESTful web services
- Experience developing Web Applications which utilize Teradata RDBMS
- Experience developing with Telerik Control Toolkit
- Experience using web application interface with LDAP, Microsoft SharePoint, Business Objects and FileNet
- Experience using tools for web prototyping, including Protoshare
