Responsibilities

The Claims TPAR (Third Party Associate Register) product team is looking for a motivated software engineer to join our team and help us enable our vision of transforming from mainframe applications on premise to Java APIs on the Cloud. ET P&C Claims is embarking on a journey to redesign current systems and move to a modernized, cloud-based architecture. The TPAR team's journey is underway, having solutions deployed on several different platforms including AWS. We're seeking an experienced software engineer who's up for a challenge and interested in helping us continue building the future of claims Third Party data.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have the following:

• Extensive experience designing and developing APIs using Python and Java
• Strong understanding of software design and development practices (security, testing, quality) with the ability to coach/mentor other software engineers on these topics
• Experience implementing Serverless, Event Driven, and Microservice architectures across multiple platforms
• Experience with GitLab, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts, and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (or similar tooling)
• Hands-on experience designing and developing solutions on AWS with knowledge of S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and more
