Leidos has a career opportunity for a Sr Software Engineer in the Ft. Meade area, MD.

This opportunity requires a TS/SCI with Poly to be considered.

Job Summary

Our new Senior Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems).

Our newest addition to the Leidos team will work individually and collaboratively while enjoying the following responsibilities:

*Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.

*Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.

*Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of COTS/GOTS in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.

Required Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph

  • 20+ years of Software Engineering experience

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline ; 4 years of of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Knowledge of/experience with FORNSAT

Preferred Skills

  • Object-oriented programming languages

Pay Range:

Pay Range $144,300.00 - $260,850.00
