We are committed to empowering the hotel industry to offer exceptional, differentiated guest services that foster loyalty.**We are looking for senior software engineer for our products with a passion for developing cutting edge solutions that enable Oracle Hospitality Cloud applications to seamlessly connect with a variety of cloud applications, both internal within Oracle Cloud such as HCM, ERP and CX but also third-party applications.**Responsibilities:** *Provides significant contribution and oversight in the design and development of software products/solutions and solution prototyping** *Delivers high quality products/solutions and ensures that best practices and sound engineering principals are applied in all phases of the software development life cycle** *Tasks include writing functional specifications, design documentation, coding, unit testing, debugging, integration, performance tuning, of software modules** *Possesses sufficient knowledge to constructively challenge current practices or approaches; identifies trends that have impact on work unit, or products and articulates implications to upper management** *Has the ability to gain working knowledge of other ORACLE departments and how these areas can benefit his/her area** *Provides training and mentorship to less experienced software engineers including code reviews**Qualifications** *Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (preferably in computer science or related field)** *5 years of experience in software design and development** *Experience in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle** *Expert level competency in core Java, SOAP/REST web services, microservice architecture, JPA/ORM, JUnit and Oracle database** *Knowledge and understanding of iPaaS technologies** *Experience implementing integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related Oracle technologies** *Exposure to Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow to name a few** *Understanding and experience implementing cloud native architectures** *Passion and a genuine interest in integration** *Good communication skills**Preferred Skills:** *Actual experience with Open Source integration tools such as Apache Camel, Apache Airflow etc. a big plus** *Experience with hospitality industry a plus** *Experience with HGBU Opera software a plus**/At Oracle, we dont just value differenceswe celebrate them.
