Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the business to evaluate business goals, identify business problems, and propose solutions
  • Ensure team follows best practices and improve application performance
  • Influence peers without authority by inspiring them to use cutting edge tools and build best of the breed solutions
  • Support the development team by validating that the design and implementation of their app is in line with requirements, solution design, guidelines, and direction/roadmap
  • Apply repeatable design patterns, best practices and development frameworks and techniques
  • Focus on execution of product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Drive some of the software engineering phases including requirements analysis, architecture & application design
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Triage production support issues post-deployment and drive solutions as required
  • Ensure team is building reusable components, frameworks and libraries which can be leveraged across department
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to drive continuous improvement
  • Research, identify, and recommend industry best practices for solving business problems
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent BTech, B.E., MCA or MTech)
  • 2+ years of experience in development and maintenance with large scale Java/J2EE Applications across all phases of SDLC
  • Experience with technologies such as WSDL, REST and/or SOAP web services
  • Proven experience delivering and maintaining software using an Agile / Scrum methodology and ITL
  • Hands-on experience in Managing/dealing Development and Operation (DevOps Team)
    • 50% on Design, Development, initial prototypes, POC of upcoming sprints
    • 30% on Leading and mentoring/guiding software engineers within the scrum team
    • 20% on DevOps, Incident Management, Problem Management, Oncall and Batch Management
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Java, Core Spring, Sprint Boot, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge and experience with SQL, RDMB
  • Strong knowledge and experience with CICD Creation and Maintenance using Jenkin
