Job Description:

Leidos is hiring a Virtualization System Administrator to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. An active TS/SCI clearance is required; all work is on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Play a key role in the architectural and design decisions the team makes

• Be able to articulate the impact of those decisions to leadership, management and customers including government and military personnel

• Provide technical expertise to help team members engineer, deploy, and operate with an understanding of systems and infrastructure dependencies within the enclave

• Other responsibilities include providing installation, configuration, and operational use of a variety of operating systems (Red Hat, Windows, ESXi) and virtualization (VMWare)

• Experience building and operating a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure VDI, preferably with Horizon 8 or above.

• Experience working in a vCenter, preferably with ESXi ver 7.0

• Windows System Administration experience.

• Experience building servers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelors degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Active US DoD TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.

• 5+ years of IT Systems Administration experience.

• 8570 IAT II level certification.

• Minimum of a Computing Environment Certification: VCP, HBSS ADMIN, Microsoft Azure, LINUX+ or OCP.
