Job Description:

Leidos has a career opening for a Systems Administrator on the Sustainment for Analysis Services (SAS) contract located in Gaithersburg, MD. The program provides sustainment and deployment support for multiple Mission-Critical exploitation capabilities. Each system has its own specific requirements and infrastructure. We are seeking a technical, self-motivated System Administrator, who is versatile and flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities of the customer. The candidate will be subject to a government security clearance and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for AWS cloud migration on multiple security domains.
  • Coordinate maintenance and deployment downtimes.
  • Perform patching and system deployments.
  • Support ISSO in obtaining ICD503 security accreditation.
  • Seek software approvals, and document installation procedures for supported systems.
  • Provide support for:
    • CM tools, including JIRA, and Confluence
    • Certificates and PKI infrastructure on Linux and Windows systems
    • Large collection of data organized for rapid search and retrieval (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.)
    • Updates to Customer/User Interface

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Must have Security + Certification.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 – 12 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6-10 years or prior relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a System Administrator for Linux and Windows systems.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft System Administration including lodging scripting, Group Policy objects (GPO's) and Windows servers roles including DHCP, DNS and active directory.
  • Experience with Python, and the package installer Pip.
  • Knowledge of essentials for IT security and security administration.
  • Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certification or experience with cloud computing web services providing distributed computing processing capacity and software tools via AWS server farms.
  • Experience with maintaining servers, storage devices and applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience addressing enterprise auditing requirements.
  • ICD-503 experience.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,900.00 - $126,000.00 - $170,100.00
