Job Description:
Provide Linux Systems Administration to 79 systems (local and remote)
- IAVA monitoring and updates
- Linux OS and updates
- Dataflow application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and software version testing and updates
- Driver updates
- Provisioning and systems installations
Provide WINDOWS Server Systems Administration to 79 systems (local and remote)
- IAVA monitoring and updates
- Windows OS and updates
- Dataflow application support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and software version testing and updates
- Driver updates
- Provisioning and systems installations
•Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required; however, 5 years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s.
•15 years’ experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
•Currently possess and maintain ONE of the following list of active certifications: MSCE-Serv- Infrastructure, Desktop, Messaging, Communication or Sharepoint or; MCITP–Serv- Administrator on Windows Server 8, Virtualization Administrator on Windows Server 8 or MS Exchange Server on Exchange 2010; or CISSP, LPI-2,RHCSA, SCSA, VCP5, LND, OR Storage +
- familiarization with VMware
- experience configuring and installing windows server 2012 / 2016 / 2019
- active directory and group policy experience
- Microsoft SQL server 2016
- Understanding of docker containers and kubernetes is helpful
- knowledge of elasticsearch, postgreSQL and InfluxB is desired
- Scripting (PowerShell, bash, etc) is a plus
•All candidates must be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance to start on the program.
