Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator for a position as part of a team supporting the Defense Information Security Agency (DISA) in Columbus, Ohio This is a full time position that must work in Columbus, Ohio. No full time telework is allowed.
The Senior Systems Administrator will support tasks on the contract related to the UCSA Core Infrastructure. Fulfilling this requirement, means the Senior Systems Administrator will have to manage multiple network enclaves that work together to provide one seamless environment that will allow users easy access to the services provided by the UCSA. The management of core infrastructure includes a large collection of network, systems and storage infrastructure as well as a core set of supporting services like Active Directory, Identity and Access Management, Yellowdog Updater Modified, Salt, Domain Name Service, ACAS, Citrix, Windows Server Update Services, Host Base Security System, and others as required.
Primary Responsibilities
Organizes and directs the configuration and operation of information management systems.
Responsible for directing the work of other system administrators to provide the day-to-day system administration to include system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
Conducts capacity and performance analysis, and provides system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
Increases system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts, develops system administrator procedures, and conducts system administrator training and skills assessment.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's of Arts or Bachelor's of Science in a technical discipline; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Federal Government Network Management is absolutely necessary.
Qualified IA personnel IAW DoD 8570/DoD 8140, minimum IAT II.
Active Secret Clearance Required with ability to obtain a Top Secret.
Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
Experience with DISA Network Enclaves
Ability to obtain a Top Secret if required by the contract
Experience with Active Directory, Identity and Access Management, Yellowdog Updater Modified, Salt, Domain Name Service, ACAS, Citrix, Windows Server Update Services and Host Base Security System
