"**Systems Analyst 4-Support****Preferred Qualifications****Degree Required :** Bachelors**Major field of study:** Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field**Job Duties**Full-time onsite Sr. ASE for Engineered Systems configuration, optimization, migration, and support.Obtains and maintains an in-depth knowledge of all supported Engineered System configurations.Works proactively with the customer to understand key customer projects, pertinent goals and customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer expectations.Assists customer with developing implementation, migration and support plans.Perform installation, configuration, migration and tuning of a Engineered Systems as required by customer.Provide consultative delivery support which includes product/technology positioning and feature/functionality consultation.Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality delivery and executing all work in a timely, efficient manner.Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Furthermore, the Systems Analyst should strive to become an individual who is recognized by the customer as a Trusted Technology Advisor sought out by the customer to provide expert technical advice.As a Trusted Technical Advisor, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Utilizing any and all ACS, GCS or Product Management individuals to bring positive results to the customers.Assist with Business Development by recognizing potential opportunities for future business and providing associated leads to Sales.Excellent oral and written communication skills Proficient in spoken and written English Exercise good judgment with respect to the customer and Oracle Self-starter, innovative, resourceful, and results oriented**Specific Skills**Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field, followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in a computer-related occupation. In addition 6 to 10 years of Exadata Experience. Education or experience must include:1. Providing computer support (Engineered Systems (Exadata), operating systems and storage applications)2. Implementing and supporting core data management solutions (Oracle RDBMS/RAC/Dataguard)3. Integrating software and hardware;4. Implementing and supporting storage solutions (ZDLRA Backup/Recovery)5. Implementing and Supporting Systems Management Software (OEM/Grid Control)6. May telecommute from home.**Detailed Description and Job Requirements**As a member of the Support organization, your focus is to deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as, technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for our Electronic Support Services. A primary point of contact for customers, you are responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues.
