Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer supporting SOCOM and TACOM Task Areas as part of a large contract. This will be a Telework position reporting directly to the SOCOM Program Manager.
Engineering lead developing equipment integration solutions into vehicle and vehicle systems to increase the capability to meet new requirements or resolve obsolescence issues to maintain capabilities
Evaluates alternative system capabilities to perform planning for system design, integration, testing and verification to recommend equipment solutions to meet customer requirements
Support quality assurance and predictive analysis studies
Apply in-depth technical understanding of vehicle systems for C4ISR systems integration, weapons integration, armor integration, and vehicle motor systems
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 12-15 years of prior experience supporting SOCOM and/or TACOM vehicle systems integration. Additional years of experience will considered in lieu of degree
Ability to travel to support CONUS and OCONUS operations
DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to develop Requirements packages, Technical Data Package, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), detailed test procedures, and Design Documentation Packages
Ability to perform system engineering reviews, including Systems Requirements Review, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Review, and Production Readiness Review
Master’s Degree, Systems Engineering with Technical Management Concentration
DAWIA Level III Certified Program Management
DAWIA Level III Certified Systems Engineering
Experience supporting SOF Warrior/Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV)
DoD Top Secret Clearance
