Leidos is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer supporting SOCOM and TACOM Task Areas as part of a large contract. This will be a Telework position reporting directly to the SOCOM Program Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engineering lead developing equipment integration solutions into vehicle and vehicle systems to increase the capability to meet new requirements or resolve obsolescence issues to maintain capabilities

  • Evaluates alternative system capabilities to perform planning for system design, integration, testing and verification to recommend equipment solutions to meet customer requirements

  • Support quality assurance and predictive analysis studies

  • Apply in-depth technical understanding of vehicle systems for C4ISR systems integration, weapons integration, armor integration, and vehicle motor systems

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline and 12-15 years of prior experience supporting SOCOM and/or TACOM vehicle systems integration. Additional years of experience will considered in lieu of degree

  • Ability to travel to support CONUS and OCONUS operations

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • Ability to develop Requirements packages, Technical Data Package, Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP), detailed test procedures, and Design Documentation Packages

  • Ability to perform system engineering reviews, including Systems Requirements Review, Preliminary and Critical Design Reviews, Test Readiness Review, and Production Readiness Review

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree, Systems Engineering with Technical Management Concentration

  • DAWIA Level III Certified Program Management

  • DAWIA Level III Certified Systems Engineering

  • Experience supporting SOF Warrior/Family of Special Operations Vehicles (FOSOV)

  • DoD Top Secret Clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $113,100.00 - $174,000.00 - $234,900.00
