We are hiring in support of the Strategic Systems Hardware Division at NSWC Crane.
We are pipelining candidates for expected future needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Technical lead for Systems Engineering efforts, including Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Demonstrated experience in the requirements generation, design, integration, qualification, verification, and validation of Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) algorithms.
- Experience providing acquisition, and engineering documentation, requirements analysis, requirements generation, and system design.
- Perform a range of design development, analysis or review tasks.
- Coordinate and work closely with other engineering, logistics, financial, and program management disciplines to define system specifications and requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
- Direct interface and liaison with customers at all levels from development to final design and test activities, design reviews and technical working group meetings to comply with requirements and specifications.
- Conduct site visits, support design reviews, attend system IPTs, analyze engineering problems, propose solutions and alternatives, and provide recommendations.
- Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required in engineering or another technical field
- 12 years of experience in the field or related area
- Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree or Ph.D. preferred
- Active Secret Clearance
