The Logistics Mission Support Operations is looking for a Sr Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering support to our Air Force customer to develop new Counter-small UAS (C-sUAS) situational awareness capabilities.

Your Main Mission:
As a member of the systems engineering team, the candidate will work within an IPT structure to support system requirements and architecture definition for the project.
The responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to technical planning, system hardware-software-network design, development, integration, and evaluation of alternatives.
Duties include performing systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, interface definition and integration.
The project will follow a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodology and will utilize Cameo Systems Modeler (CSM) as its primary systems engineering tool.
The candidate will communicate as required with the joint industry/USAF IPT team, and government stakeholders to successfully meet the project goals.
What Sets You Apart:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess an active SECRET clearance
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance
Candidate must have experience deriving requirements for complex software, electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical systems.
Candidate must have experience with requirements management, to include requirements traceability, requirements change process, and requirements verification.
Position requires candidates to be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
Candidate must have demonstrated experience effectively communicating within a team environment.
Position requires candidates to be capable of supporting in person classified meetings weekly at the customer site.

Active Top Secret clearance
Working knowledge of MBSE tools, languages and methodologies
Working knowledge of DoDAF
Understanding of Command and Control (C2) frameworks
Understanding of Cloud Technology and Architecture
Demonstrated experience with Sensor Integration
Operational experience with the USAF Security Forces
Working knowledge of semi-autonomous system operations
Working knowledge of USAF C5ISR systems
Clearance Required:
Possess an active DoD Secret level clearance at the time of consideration.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
