We are in search of a Data Systems Engineer to join us in support of the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Information Technology Services (CITS) contract at MacDill, AFB in Tampa, Florida. You will be part of a team that provides an innovative, modernized, IT life-cycle management system to USCENTCOM, including next-generation IT infrastructure cloud services and end-to-end automation. The CITS program provides USCENTCOM with the capability to maintain high readiness rates for an innovative enterprise IT infrastructure on a global scale.

In this role, you will work with the Data Analytics and Predictive Analytics PWS task area for the J6 Knowledge Management Data (KM-D) customer set.

What will you do in this role?

  • Design, implement and operate data management systems.

  • Work in conjunction with the Government and data end users to identify, create, and populate optimal data architectures, structures, and systems.

  • Design how data will be stored, accessed, used, integrated, and managed by different data regimes and digital systems.

  • Plan, design, and optimize data throughput and query performance.

  • Assist the Government with the selection of backend database technologies, configuration and utilization, and the optimization of the full data pipeline infrastructure to support the actual content, volume, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), and periodicity of data to support the intended kinds of queries and analysis to match expected responsiveness.

  • Develop, maintain, and test infrastructures for data generation, enabling transformation of data into formats which facilitate analysis.

These are the required qualifications:

• Currently hold Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Bachelor's and 8+ years' or Master's and 6+ years ‘or Associate's and 10 years’ or High School diploma or General Education Development and 12 years’ experience.

• Currently hold one or more of the following certifications: A+, or CND, or Network+, or Security+.

These are the preferred qualifications:

• Degree with a Major or Focus in Data Engineering or Data Science

• Background employing tools for modeling relational and dimensional data structures.

• Work with ETL

• Work with development tools

• Work with visualization tools

• Prior background working the USCENTCOM customer performing enterprise IT services.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
