Systems Engineer
Systems Engineer for our Leidos engineering capability in Bristol. The successful Systems Engineer will have a full understanding of the principles of systems engineering, will have prior experience as a Systems Engineer on a major programme involving accepting and integrating deliveries from suppliers. Using their experience in Systems Engineering, the successful candidate will be responsible for working with customers and suppliers to execute Systems Engineering activities across the full lifecycle, with specific focus on Model Based Systems Engineering. Candidate must be eligible to undergo security clearance (SC)
Leidos have an exciting opportunity to support the creation of a Crypto key management and distribution system. The systems engineering team will be responsible for the design, development, test and acceptance of the solution, which must be secure and capable of accreditation. We are seeking individuals with the right skills to ensure and efficient and successful delivery.

Systems Engineer will require the following skills and experience:
Minimum of 5 years System Engineering and preferably with INCOSE certification to support this…although INCOSE is not essential.
Experienced on the left hand side of the V-Model and comfortable with DOORS
Able to write and work with requirements to make them SMART
Produce requirement specifications from User Requirements
Produce Architecture documents
Derive Subsystems and Review Sub System Specifications and Design to SYS and User Requirements
Produce ICDs
Support Master Test Plan Production and test artefacts up to and including User Acceptance Testing
Work within an Incremental / Iterative SW Development environment
Familiar with Training and ILS document suite and able to review against URD and Sys Requirements
Comfortable with Atlassian toolsets (Confluence and JIRA a must)
Good presentation skills to audience of up to 50 people
Experience of “high grade” development a key advantage
Eligible to undergo SC clearance (or DV)
