Title: Freight Claims Administrator

What will you do?

The Claims Administrator will adjudicate all liability, physical damage, and cargo claims incurred on equipment, property, and hauled loads. The role will also administer all compensation claims.


Responsibilities Include:

Prepare and respond to claims for, or against the company ensuring all documentation, including statements, photographs, repair estimates, and market value are accurately reflected.

File detailed subrogation claims on behalf of the organization.

Ongoing claims management including communicating, invoicing, tracking, collecting, and/or approving for payment from direct, insurance, or third parties.

Administer all Worker’s Compensation claims from start to finish, including first report of injury, time loss or medical only, light duty return-to-work program, and physicians release to the job of injury.

Ensure ongoing communication with injured associates, fleet managers, human resources, and the safety department with status updates and pertinent information for each claim.


What will you need?

Two years prior experience in a Claims Administrator role with Washington State Workers.

Compensation responsibility is required.

Previous experience in a logistics/transportation company is preferred

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in a Business or related field is preferred, or two or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
