Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO facility.

Position Overview:

Provide analysis and leadership to develop, support and implement logistics programs to meet or exceed business objectives across Bussmann.

In this function you will:

  • Provide leadership to develop, support and implement logistics programs to meet or exceed business objectives across Bussmann UL.
  • Support implementation of programs and system improvements to improve efficiency, drive down overall logistics costs and improve service levels.
  • Collaborate with Corporate and Regional Logistics teams to develop and deploy logistics projects and initiatives.
  • Manage carrier performance
  • Oversee freight payment and freight claims processes
  • Support logistics regulatory and hazardous materials requirements
  • Work with Supply Chain Managers to reduce premium freight as a % of sales
  • Deploy Eaton Logistics functional competencies and principles to help the division address key operating factors and achieve higher levels of performance.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years logistics experience
  • Required working knowledge and experience with computers and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Regulations on domestic and international shipments
  • Logistics network analysis and design
  • Lean principles
  • Prior SAP Experience

Position Criteria:

  • Knowledge of domestic transportation market, including customs and warehousing
  • Management of 3rd party providers, including experience working with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers and customs (import/export)
  • Knowledge of transportation/logistics/supply chain concepts and strategies
  • Proven track record of achieving results
  • Superior communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success in leading projects and data analysis
