**Description:****Position Summary:**The Inventory Control/Prepper is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and product integrity within the facility. The Inventory Control/Prepper will also be responsible for ensuring a conforming product mix, facilitating efficient order fulfillment, and contributing to a safe and orderly working environment.This is a 2nd shift position Days are Monday - Friday with weekends and holidays as needed. Hours are 4:30pm until finish.**Major Responsibilities:** Responsible for completing physical inventories, cycle counts, random audits and reconciliations as needed Track and report non-conforming product and damages Repackage salvageable items and products in a professional manner Resolve damaged items/locations in a timely manner Research and reconcile product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged products Ensure items in the pick face locations are prepper according to their UOM and ready for pickingWork with warehouse personnel to ensure proper rotation and location of all inventoryConduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventoryMaintain location cleanliness and the absence of damaged product, dunnage, and debrisCommunicate issues to Lead/Supervisor immediately Other projects and tasks assigned by supervisor**Qualifications:****Qualifications:** 2 years of general office experience required 1 year of customer service experience required High School diploma or equivalent required Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required AS400 experience preferred Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.**Physical Requirements:**-The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
