At Organon we have an exciting opportunity for a Logistic Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for the Supply Chain Execution activities within External Manufacturing Operations, primarily supporting the Focus Factory Team with material movement transactions, logistics activities and inventory management support.

Main Role and responsibilities:

The Logistic specialist is responsible for all core supply chain execution activities, including but not limited to:

Material Movement & Logistics Support

  • Goods Issue/Receipt for inbound and/or outbound materials

  • Arrange / Confirm/ Track Shipment & documentation

  • Import/Export

  • Cold Chain Management

  • Duty Drawbacks, etc.

  • Manage and resolve issues/delays with shipment

  • Support Invoice remediation - Indirect POs

  • Manage shipments of samples

  • Tracking of stability samples in reporting systems

Inventory Management Support

  • Physical inventory cycle count, where applicable

  • Inventory Reconciliation and Inventory of Questionable Value processes

Additional expectations

  • Performs activities in an accurate and timely manner to drive Delivery performance, such as ICSL and IOTIF.

  • Executes processes in a manner that proactively identifies, mitigates, manages and prevents supply issues.

  • If an issue occurs, supports root cause evaluation and drives for continuous improvement

Role requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent. Any advanced degree is preferred, APICS Certification is considered a plus

  • Minimum 2 years experience in commercial/business and/or manufacturing/ operations

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation, and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal coaching

  • Experience in multiple business areas is preferred such as operations, supply chain and procurement

  • Supply chain management experience and knowledge, including functional knowledge of ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)
