Our business helps support their way of life and contributes to the survival of a culture that has thrived in a challenging environment.**Responsibilities:**Logistics Technician to manage all incoming shipments and organizational turn-ins. The Logistics Technician will oversee all modes of transportation movement at the warehouse and secure all materials through a carefully monitored scanning process.+ The individual selected for this position shall be responsible for receipt and security of classified and/or sensitive shipments concurrent with unloading.+ Provisions for a secure storage area will be provided as required with the clients facility.+ The individual will assist with off-loading inbound shipments of a commodity directly from the carriers conveyance at the storage point to avoid dual handling.+ The individual will ensure 100% verification of quantity, identity, condition, and status of each item received and will be responsible for opening all boxes to conduct a visual inspection. In addition to handling materials and shipments, the individual will maintain files of contract purchase orders reflecting all supplies due in.+ Through multiple classified and unclassified workstations, the individual will manage information for efficient operations and shall process all necessary paperwork/computer input to enter material on liable records.+ Driving responsibilities may arise therefore must be able to demonstrate safe driving skills at all times, in compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations and driving laws.**Qualifications****Minimum Qualifications:**+ Must be self-motivated, flexible to changing requirements, possess excellent. communication skills and have a strong sense of personal responsibility.+ Due to the physically demanding components of this position, individuals interested must be in good condition (capable of repeated bending, kneeling, and squatting; and capable of lifting up to 40 pounds unassisted and occasionally.+ Candidate must be a citizen of the United States of America.+ Must possess a minimum of 3 years previous logistics experience.+ Candidate must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.+ Completion of college level courses in Business Administration, Management, or other applicable area is highly desirable.+ Warehouse/Logistics certifications highly desired.+ Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record.+ Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Drivers License highly desired.+ Must be able to pass a drug screening.+ Must have a minimum of a Secret clearance, with TS and SCI eligibility.The duties and responsibilities listed in this job description generally cover the nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position.
