Job Description:

The Government Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response (ASPR) - Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group currently has an opening for a Logistics Assurance Specialist to work in our Atlanta office.

Primary Responsibilities

Be responsible for assisting in planning and conducting annual inventory and audits

Participate/conduct quarterly checks on all Program assets.

Provide logistics management support for the Program.

Continually monitor all quality assurance aspects of the program and recommends program modifications or revisions when necessary.

Conduct reviews of DSNS facilities, on a regular basis, to document compliance and identify deficiencies.

Maintain a comprehensive control program to ensure that quality assurance/quality control standards and other regulatory guidelines are adhered to by government staff, during the receipt, storage, handling, transport, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.

Review facility data and documentation to ensure all quality review requirements are in place, controlled, and meet quality control/quality review and other regulatory requirements.

Investigate deviations, which pose a significant risk of adversely affecting products. Determine the cause of the problem and develop corrective and preventive actions.

Prepare audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Coordinate and conduct periodic internal reviews and SNS partners.

Apply knowledge and experience relating to all phases of lifecycle management of medical supplies and equipment.

Maintain reports depicting all audits being conducted in all aspects of logistics.

Submit regular logistics audit summaries and reports to Program Management

Create, review, and file reports detailing logistics inventories.

Assist in the management of a stockpile of medical materiel that can deploy throughout the US in the event of a biological or chemical terrorist attack or natural disaster

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors with 2 years
