Fork Truck Driver - Casual
Amentum is seeking Casual Status Fork Truck Drivers for our industrial maintenance team in Miami.
Responsibilities:
- Loading, unloading, shipping and receiving warehouse items.
- Transporting materials from one location to another inside and outside of facility.
- Maintain professional and courteous customer relations including, client, vendor, and internal team.
- Actively participate in safety meetings. Maintain safety work practices as define by Amentum
- Communicate and advise MHE related concerns to fellow employees and management.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor/lead.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
- Must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must have previous fork lift operation experience and be able to pass fork lift certification.
- Must have working knowledge of power and hand tools used in building and assembling boxes.
- Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
- This position may require communication in English
- This position will require the ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
- This position may require various shifts, weekends, holidays and alternative work schedules. Must be willing to work overtime when required.
