Supervisor of Operations

In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operations within the facility; monitoring employee work and ensuring that shipments are moved in a timely fashion and damage free. You will lead, manage, educate and develop company employees, supervise and direct employee work; monitor, record and educate employees; plan daily manpower needs and set schedules; and perform administrative functions as necessary.
Must possess:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to travel as necessary
Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet
Good organizational skills
Thorough knowledge of LTL industry, DOT rules and regulations, OSHA Laws, Hazardous Materials Regulations, NMFC and Tariff rules, as well as companies’ policies and procedures, is preferred.
